Dr. Nicole Tartaglia is a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician and Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. In addition to expertise in clinical care and psychopharmacologic management of autism spectrum disorder, her work focuses on genetic causes of ASD and intellectual and developmental disabilities, with particular emphasis on sex chromosome aneuploidies, Fragile X syndrome, 22q deletion syndrome, and other rare neurogenetic disorders.

Her research integrates deep phenotyping, longitudinal natural history studies, clinical trials and outcome measure evaluation. She leads multidisciplinary clinical and research programs including the Denver Fragile X Clinic and the eXtraordinarY Kids Clinic & Research Project, and collaborates in national and international networks focused on advancing rare neurogenetic disorder research. She is PI of the NIH Rare Disease Clinical Research Network Consortium for Sex Chromosome Aneuploidy (NASCARR), a multi-site effort to advance clinical trial readiness.
