Eric Feil, MS

Eric Feil is an education specialist for the Biospecimen Accessioning and Processing Laboratory at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Feil joined Mayo Clinic in 2017 as a research technologist in the biospecimen processing lab before advancing to technical specialist and transitioning to his current role.

In his role as education specialist, Feil collaborates with internal teams and external partners to train staff, support major research initiatives, and deliver technical support for lab operations.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Hamline University and a master’s degree in biological sciences, focusing on cell and developmental biology, from the University of Minnesota. During his graduate studies, Feil researched limb development in mice, investigating how the SALL4 gene contributes to Okihiro syndrome, a rare genetic disorder affecting bone and eye development.
