Susan Faja, PhD
Biomarker Research Lead
Boston Children's Hospital (BCH)
Dr. Susan Faja has more than 20 years of experience conducting autism research, including clinical trials, long-term studies of early symptom development and the design of treatment and testing tools for young adults.
Faja uses brain wave recordings, eye-tracking technology and physical health measurements during clinical trials. She combines these biological measures with patient behavior assessments to track how treatments work. As a licensed psychologist and brain research scientist, she works to ensure high-quality data collection while creating a positive experience for children and families participating in long-term studies.
