Siddharth Srivastava, MD

Dr. Siddharth Srivastava is an Associate Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and a pediatric neurologist at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) specializing in neurogenetics and neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs). He trained in Child Neurology and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and completed a neurogenetics fellowship at BCH. His research focuses on investigating genetic causes of autism, intellectual disability (ID), and cerebral palsy (CP). He leverages a multi-modal approach encompassing (1) gene discovery, (2) neurodevelopmental phenotyping/natural history studies, (3) biomarker identification, and (4) clinical trials.

He has generated critical natural history data leading to gene therapy treatment trials, served as PI for multiple interventional trials for genetic NDDs, and spearheaded clinical practice changes for genetic testing for NDDs. His research is funded by the NIH, and he has received national recognition for his work, including the Philip P. Dodge Young Investigator Award by the Child Neurology Society.
