Dr. Sara Jane Webb is a Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute. She is a cognitive and social developmental neuroscientist whose work spans infancy through adulthood and focuses on linking functional brain activity to social ability and disability in autism and related neurodevelopmental conditions. Her research program is centered on identifying brain-based markers to characterize heterogeneity in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and predict treatment response. She serves as Director of the Data Acquisition and Analytic Core for the NIMH Autism Biomarkers Consortium for Clinical Trials, leading consortium-wide protocol development, site initiation and quality control, and the implementation of analytic pipelines and aims.
