Dr. Matthew Siegel, MD, MBA, DFAACAP, serves in the dual role of Chief of Clinical Enterprise for the Department of Psychiatry of Boston Children’s Hospital and Chief Behavioral Health Officer of Franciscan Children’s Hospital. He is a Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine and a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Siegel is engaged in building the programs of each institution into an integrated, world class system of behavioral healthcare which places patient and family experience at the center of everything we do.

Dr. Siegel previously served at MaineHealth as a Vice President of Medical Affairs and led an integrated continuum of care, research and training for the behavioral health needs of youth with developmental disabilities. An international expert in developmental disabilities, he is widely sought for his knowledge of systems of care for youth with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Dr. Siegel is a graduate of Amherst College and Stanford Medical School. He trained at Brown University in child psychiatry, psychiatry and pediatrics, obtaining board certification in all three disciplines. He earned his MBA at Brandeis University.
