Julie Sato, PhD, is a Research Manager at the Autism Research Centre at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where she supports Dr. Evdokia Anagnostou’s team. She brings over a decade of experience in clinical research, leading and supporting clinical trials and prospective cohort studies in neurodevelopment.
Dr. Sato earned her PhD in Psychology from the University of Toronto, where her research examined the impact of early nutrition on brain structure and function in children born very preterm. During her postdoctoral training, she investigated the emerging brain networks in infants and toddlers with autism spectrum disorder using novel neuroimaging approaches, including optically pumped magnetometers.
She is passionate about building strong research programs, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and translating research into meaningful impact for children and families.
