Jennifer Combs, LISW, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 20 years of experience spanning clinical practice and research leadership in child and adolescent psychiatry. She began her career providing evidence-based outpatient therapy to children and adolescents with complex psychiatric needs and spent more than a decade conducting diagnostic assessments across major clinical research studies. For the past 18 years at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, she has built progressive research expertise across a range of high-impact studies, including 8 years as a project manager for a large multisite study, overseeing protocol development, regulatory compliance, budget management, and scientific grant writing. Since 2024, she has served as the Clinical Research Manager in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, providing strategic oversight for a portfolio of 20+ active studies, directing IRB and grant submissions, and mentoring a team of coordinators and research assistants across the division. Her dual background in clinical work and rigorous research management makes her uniquely equipped to lead programs at the intersection of mental health, autism, and neurodevelopmental science.
